Problem
Prove that for every integer n the fraction
\frac{21n+4}{14n+3}
cannot be reduced any further.
Solution
Since
3(14n+3)-2(21n+4)=1
we have that
gcd(21n+4,14n+3)=1
and then the fraction is reduced.
